Giorgio Armani showcased their Prive A/W13-14 collection entitled Nude last night, and though the show was immersed with nude fabrics, flowing shapes and statement neck pieces the true significance relied on the name of the collection Nude.
Nude – symbolic for stripping back the expectations of fashion and runways, also taking away the unnecessary over-use of colour and accessories and enable a completely new and reformed collection. When excitedly browsing through the captures of the GA Prive, a completely transformed and organic approach eludes each and every snapshot. One that I commend. Why? because this collection almost screams to the average person that it is OK to cut back and remain subtle when concerning fashion, especially in a world of hysteria.
